PC Children's Charity needed to create an accessible digital presence that would engage donors while clearly communicating their mission and impact. The redesign focused on extending their established brand guidelines to the digital space while ensuring content was both accessible and emotionally resonant.

Art Direction

Leveraged the PC Children's Charity style guide to create a vibrant digital extension of their brand identity. The design balances playful, child-friendly elements with the professionalism expected of a major charitable organization. Bold colours, approachable typography, and thoughtful imagery work together to convey both urgency and optimism.

Digital Experience & UX/UI Design

Reimagined the site architecture through content prioritization and simplification, creating focused user journeys that guide visitors toward key actions like donation and program exploration. By identifying essential information and highlighting it through strategic design elements, we created a more intuitive and engaging experience that connects visitors to the charity's mission.

Accessibility Implementation

Conducted a comprehensive site audit to identify accessibility challenges and developed designs that meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility guidelines. This included optimizing color contrast, improving keyboard navigation, implementing proper heading structures, and ensuring all interactive elements are accessible to users with diverse needs.

Content Strategy

Through prioritizing and simplifying content, we created areas where impactful stories and statistics could come to life in a fun and exciting way. The revised content strategy emphasizes real outcomes and human impact, using visualization to communicate the charity's achievements in feeding and supporting children across Canada.

The redesigned website successfully balances emotional appeal with clear information architecture, creating a digital presence that effectively supports the charity's mission to put the power of food into the hands of Canadian children.
